How do push notifications work?
Push notifications are delivered via ntfy — a free, open-source notification service. Once you upgrade to Basic or Pro, follow these steps:
- Download the ntfy app on your phone (iOS / Android)
- Open the ntfy app and tap ＋ to subscribe to a topic
- Choose any topic name you like (e.g.
my-campgetter-alerts) - In Campgetter dashboard → Account → Notification Settings, enter the same topic name and save
- That's it! You'll receive instant push notifications when a site opens up
How often does Campgetter check for availability?
Free and Basic plans check every 5 minutes. Pro plan checks every 2 minutes for the fastest possible alerts.
Which parks are supported?
Campgetter supports BC Parks (including Garibaldi, Joffre Lakes, Berg Lake, and more) and Parks Canada (including Banff, Jasper, Yoho, and more). Both campsite and backcountry reservations are supported.
What happens when a site opens up?
You'll receive an email notification immediately (all plans), plus a push notification on your phone (Basic and Pro). The email includes a direct link to the booking page so you can book instantly.
I didn't receive the confirmation email. What should I do?
Please check your spam or junk folder — the email may have been filtered automatically. The email is sent from noreply@campgetter.com. If you still can't find it, use the "Resend confirmation email" button on the sign-up page.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, you can cancel anytime from the Billing page in your dashboard. You'll keep access until the end of your billing period.
